AWARDS AND HONOURS

  • Shivalik Public School Mohali again set new standards of excellence once again. Bringing laurels to the institution , 23 students of Shivalik Public School (SPS) have topped by scoring more than 90%in CBSE-2018 All India Secondary Exam(class X) .The most impressive performance was given by Ridhima Garg.149 students of SPS appeared for the exam. Of them, Ridhima Garg scored the highest marks by obtaining 97.6 %marks followed by Ruchi with 96.6% and Jasneet Kaur with 96 % marks .
  • Three students namely Ruchi, Jasneet Kaur and Meemansa Walia in Hindi and five students namely Ridhima Garg, Jasneet Kaur, Shivam, Harshdeep singh Takhtar and Aisha Parveen in Social Science scored 100 % marks.
  • Yashvi Singh of Class IX ( Session 2017-18)  has been awarded with a trophy and the Scholarship amount of Rs 25,000  in the Hindustan Times Scholarship Program 2017-2018
  • Hetal Thakur and Sumit Yadav of Class IX (Session 2017-18) have been bestowed with the scholarship amount of 6000/- under Deen Dayal "SPARSH" Yojana 2017-18
  • Aryan Thakur of Class IX represented India in Taekwondoo Friendship Games held at Texas ,USA on 18 January ,2018. It was a great event as 500 contestants participated  from 18 countries. Aryan Thakur showed his talent in Under 14 category and he fought six fights and eighteen rounds and won a gold medal.
  • The All India North zone Competitions, organized in connection with the Pearl Jubilee (30th Anniversary) celebrations of the Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC)/ISRO, for students of schools located in Punjab and Haryana were held at Shivalik Public School, Mohali on 12th of February. Nearly,   150     contestants participated in the three events and the winners are:
  • In Punjabi Elocution  Sumer Singh  secured first position.
  • In English Elocution:  Vishalika Sharma and  Muskan secured first and third position
  • In Science-Space quiz: Shiva Goel, Armaan Noor Singh Brar got second position
  • This was the 6th in the series of competitions, which was earlier conducted at zones headquartered at Kollam, Thrissur, Kottayam, Kannur and Tirunelveli.
