Collection of Old Clothes Drive ( 10th September 2024)
As part of our community service initiative, Shivalik Public School Chandigarh collected old clothes from staff & students and sent them to SAMVEDANA skill centre on 10 September 2024. The material will be upcycled into reusable bags which will be donated to the blood banks and other required areas. Members of our GIRLS INDIA PROJECT played an active role in the collection of old clothes by constantly urging and motivating the students to donate for the good cause. Our NSS team assisted in putting things together in cartons before sending them to the skill centre. This initiative supports our commitment to giving back to the community and promoting sustainability. The Principal, Dr. Gurkiran Jeet Nalwa, thanked everyone involved for their sincere efforts.
