“Training proves to be the key ingredient to handling any disaster”
A Disaster Management mock drill was conducted on Wednesday, 28th August, 2024 for all the blocks to prepare the students for unforeseen emergencies, such as Earthquakes and Fire. The main objective was to spread awareness, build preparedness, courage and confidence, and enhance the student’s ability to respond quickly.
Before the drill, the students were sensitized about the emergency exit plan, evacuation routes and the do’s and don’ts that must be followed during an emergency. The purpose of the mock drill was also explained to the students, along with how it helps handle and prepare for unforeseen emergencies.
