Classes III- VIII
A balanced diet and physical activities are vital to academic performance. A healthy diet has a direct link to increased cognitive function and memory skills, decreased absenteeism from school, and improved mood. These advantages can help students stay focused and complete their coursework.
School’s endeavour in promoting healthy eating habits amongst children can be visualised in the HEALTHY TIFFIN COMPETITIONS organised in school regularly. In the month of April, a competition for the most balanced diet/ tiffin was conducted. Students brought nutritious diets (mentioning the vitamins/ minerals) and the best tiffins were rewarded. They also got opportunity to speak on nutritional value of their food.
