Awareness session on Women Centric Legislation(25th July 2024)

Under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Campaign, a session on Women Centric Legislation was organised by the Legal Department (UT) at Shivalik Public School (Chandigarh) today. Mr. Shiv Kumar Sharma- the Program Coordinator and Dr. Aastha Arora- Paralegal Volunteer from State Legal Services Authority Chandigarh enlightened the students about the various laws for women protection. Ms Jasveer Kaur- District Coordinator from the Social Welfare Dept. educated the participants on the schemes laid down by the govt. for women upliftment. She further motivated all participants to remain aware and strong in all situations. It was overall an interactive and educative session.
