Rangoli Competition Organised at Shivalik Public School
Shivalik Public School, Phase 6, Mohali organized Rangoli Competition centred around the theme ‘Microbial Diseases’ in collaboration with the Microbiologist Society of India(MBSI). The event was organized to raise awareness about the significance of diseases caused by microbes . This activity not only enhanced their scientific temperament but also catered for their artistic passion. The students from classes 6th to 12th participated in the event. They were divided into 13 teams. The guest of honour, Dr.Shelly Sharma, Microbiologist, MBSI graced the occasion with her presence. The event was judged by Dr. Anupkiran Kaur, Principal Shivalik, Dr.Jyoti Soni, Principal,SIER and Dr. Goggi Gupta,Professor of Science, SIER. The students were asked questions regarding their representations and an interactive session was held. The interaction highlighted the crucial role that science stream plays in understanding and combating various diseases caused by microbes. The results were declared based on the overall participation. The winners from the various teams are:
1st Prize Winners- Sana, Jasmeet, Soni
2nd Prize Winners-Harsirjan, Diksha, Ravia
3rd Prize Winners- Shorya, Sukhmanjot, Ravjeet
