The game of intellect, strategy and decision making took center stage on 16th July 2024 at Shivalik Public School, Patiala hosted the Inter School Chess Competition. This display of sportsmanship exemplified the values of integrity and respect that chess instills in its players. This event was more than just a contest of intellect and strategy.
Participants from Grades VI to XII proved their logical thinking, analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills in the Inter-House Chess Competition held on July 16, 2024. The young, budding players from the four Houses enthusiastically played to beat their opponents in nail-biting matches. The expertise that students have developed in chess at such a young and tender age is commendable and inspiring for all. Sahibzada Fateh Singh Ji House (Yellow House) is the winner house in junior as well as senior category.
Principal of the school congratulated the winners and appreciated the sincere efforts put in by the sports department of the school for conducting the tournament smoothly and with success.
